    Verizon can temporarily disconnect your telephone at your request without terminating your account.

    Call Verizon at 1-800-VERIZON (1-800-837-4966) to arrange to temporarily suspend your service.
    Charges may apply to initially suspend and reconnect your phone service while you are away from home.


    Your phone will be reactivated on the date you initially requested for your vacation service.

    As long as your return date did not change from the time you placed your vacation service order, your service will be automatically reactivated.
