Very very basic

Are the AirPods bad? No. But they are considerably more basic vs the bare minimum I was expecting. They’re smaller vs the other AirPods which isn’t terrible but I’m unsure if it’s the general size of the AirPods or the ear tips but they by no means stay in your ear on more then 1 occasion I have pushed my headphone back in with the back of my hand to get met with a terrible screeching in my ear. You cannot change the volume on your phone with these AirPods either. Honestly the only reason I haven’t returned them is due to the absolute hassle but they stay in my nightstand.

Put simply: AirPods 4 fall out of my ears. Apple offers up some tortured advice to rotate the pods forward to wedge them in, which I concede holds them in place for a short period. Still, the lack of sealing with the ear canal and the uncomfortable pressure from cam-locking them in place make the AirPods 4 a poor purchasing decision for me. I work in a dirty environment and would prefer to insert the ear buds once and not touch them again until I remove my gloves and wash my hands. When these magnetic speakers hit the dirty floor, magnetic dust coats the device and makes them unwearable before cleaning again. By the end of a work period, my ears are coated with dirt and my AirPods look, well, like I dropped them on the floor a dozen times.
