Activation and equipment fees apply for Hum+ and Hum×. Other taxes and fees apply. New activations may be subject to credit review. Hum+ or HumX device payment purchase with new line or upgrade activation req’d. New activation subject to credit review, must be in good standing at time of credit. You may cancel the service for any reason within 14 days of activation. Beginning day 15, early termination fee of up to $120 for Hum+/$175 for Humx applies. Humx is only available via Verizon Wireless; Hum× service operates on 4G LTE network only and requires data usage. Not all products are available in all areas. Pinpoint Roadside Assistance provided by Signature Motor Club, Inc., up to 4 events per year. Many services require GPS service and/or network availability, not available in all locations. This product has a lot of good features, but the only feature that seems to work is the WiFi Hotspot and that messes up sometimes too. The GPS location is always getting stuck on an old location and not updating with the movement of the vehicle. It wouldn’t let me set up Google Assistant so I can’t even use to call feature that comes with the HumX. I’ve been having a very hard time setting this product up completely. If I could set up this product and everything function properly and at all times, this would be a very great product.

The Hub app is decent, plenty of features from the OBDII reader connected to the vehicle. You can even classify trip history as personal or business and export to an Excel sheet, which is convenient. Be forewarned, however, that the Google Assistant features seemingly do not work, as I have been unable to connect to my Google Assistant account to use the voice features. As of right now, 27 August, the regular Hum without the speaker would have sufficed. That definitely puts a damper on the overall use, but it does come with good features in the app.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
Works great outside of the fact that it wont let me save any hum contacts and just says error try again later which has been going on for a week now

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
I will start with I do work for Verizon, however this review is my own and I was not paid to do this.
So I have three of these and love them! I originally got these so I can track my car in case it was stolen, however it has been much more helpful than this. I am able to see what check engine light issues are and when one does pop up I am able to talk to a real certified mechanic about the issue and get some options on how to fix it.
These devices also come with roadside assistance, maintenance reminders, portable internet for the kids while we travel for events and vacation. It is also handy for outdoor pop up shops when we do them since the internet stays on for up to an hour after you turn your car off.
And for the fellas, if you have a ford it will keep track of gas, so you can refill the gas tank for your significant other lol.
This is also great for teens that are just starting to drive since it also has crash detection and boundary limits so you know where they are in case of an emergency.
For the price this is a great thing to have for anyone and would really recommend it. Hope this helps!
