Verizon Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi® 6620L - Advanced Settings

Here's howtTo change the advanced settings (LAN, etc.) on your Verizon Jetpack - MiFi 6620L.
To change the Advanced Settings (e.g., LAN, Port Filtering, etc.) on your Jetpack, view this info.
Changing advanced settings may be harmful to the stability, performance and security of the Jetpack. Contact your local IT administrator prior to altering any of these settings.
  1. From the left menu, click
    Jetpack Settings Settings icon
    (at the center left).
  2. From the Advanced tab, click
    Continue
    .
  3. Click any of the following:

Manual DNS

You may automatically assign Domain Name Server (DNS) settings by the device. If enabling manual DNS is necessary, contact your local IT administrator for assistance.
  1. From the left menu, click
    Jetpack Settings Settings icon
    (at the center left).
  2. From the Advanced tab, click
    Continue
    .
  3. Click
    Manual DNS
    .
  4. To turn on, click a
    check mark
    to enable Manual DNS.
  5. From the DNS 1 IP address and DNS 2 IP address fields, enter the appropriate information.
  6. Click
    Save Changes
    (in the lower-right).

Firewall

  1. From the left menu, click
    Jetpack Settings Settings icon
    (at the center left).
  2. From the Advanced tab, click
    Continue
    .
  3. Click
    Firewall
    .
  4. From the VPN Passthrough mode section, select the
    switch
    to turn ON or OFF.
  5. From the IPv6 Transparent Mode section, select the
    switch
    to turn ON or OFF.
  6. Click
    Save Changes
    (in the lower-right).

LAN

  1. From the left menu, click
    Jetpack Settings Settings icon
    (at the center left).
  2. From the Advanced tab, click
    Continue
    .
  3. Click
    LAN
    .
  4. Enter the desired information into the following fields:
    • IP address
    • Subnet mask
    • MAC Address
    • Turn on the DHCP server by clicking a
      checkmark
      to enable or disable.
    • Start DHCP address range at
    • DHCP address range
    • DHCP lease time
    • Turn on IPv6 by clicking a
      checkmark
      to enable or disable.
    • Link-Local Address
  5. Click
    Save Changes
    (in the lower-right).
