Google Pay® - Make an In-Store Purchase

Here's how to make an in-store purchase with Google Pay.

Ensure Near Field Communications (NFC) is turned on.

If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to turn on NFC.

At the participating retailer's location, unlock the Google Pay enabled device then hold it near the NFC terminal.

The appropriate card is recognized when a check mark appears.

The purchase is confirmed and a digital purchase confirmation is sent to the device.

The purchase confirmation contains transaction details and the Maps location where the purchase was made.
