Samsung Galaxy Tab E - Move Files from Internal Storage to SD / Memory Card

Here's how to move files from internal storage on your Samsung Galaxy Tab E to an SD / memory card.
To perform the steps below, a memory card must be installed.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap
    My Files
    .
  3. Select a category (e.g., Images, Audio, etc.) from the Categories section.
  4. If applicable, select the directory/folder that contains the file(s).
  5. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon.
  6. Tap
    Edit
    .
  7. Select (check) the desired file(s).
    To select all files, tap
    All
    .
  8. Tap the
    Menu icon
    .
  9. Tap
    Move
    .
  10. Tap
    SD / Memory Card
    .
  11. If necessary, navigate to the appropriate directory (to move the files to).
  12. Tap
    DONE
    .
    Depending upon the file type and size, the process may take several minutes to complete.
