Verizon Ellipsis 10 - Power Up in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your Ellipsis 10 that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. With the Verizon Ellipsis® 10 powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     until the Ellipsis screen appears then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  2. When the Verizon screen appears, press and hold the
    Volume down button
    .
  3. Continue to hold the
    Volume down button
     until Safe mode appears in the lower-left of the unlock or home screen then release.
    This may take up to 45 seconds.
  4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.
