My Verizon app - Manage Notifications
Here's how to manage text or push notifications via My Verizon app.
- You can choose to receive text or push notifications for Billing, Payment and Usage via the My Verizon app or website. Email preferences and other notifications (e.g., bill ready, promotions, etc.) can be managed via the My Verizon website.
- Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
- Available settings vary based on user type (e.g., Account Owner, Account Manager, Account Member).
- Open theMy Verizon appthen tap theAccount tab.If prompted, enter your password, fingerprint or face ID.
- Navigate:.
- TapSelectbeneath the mobile number you want to update.
- Tap any of the following switches to turn on or off:While on, select the 'Push notification' and/or the 'Text message' option to set preferences.
- Billing
- Payments
- Usage
- TapSave preferences.Changes may take up to 15 minutes to appear on your account.
- When push notifications or text messages are enabled, ensure:
- App notifications are turned on from the Android smartphone or Apple iPhone for the My Verizon app.All categories (e.g., Default, Alerts, Support, etc.) should be on in order to receive app notifications.
