Windows 10 - Sign In / Out

Here's how to sign in or out of your account on your Windows 10 device.
  • Refer to Windows® support article for additional info, Sign in to or out of Windows , then navigate:

  • If your device isn't running Windows 10, refer to the Windows 8 instructions.

  1. From the Home screen, tap or click the
    User icon
     (located in the lower-left).
    Press User Icon
  2. Tap or click
    Sign out
    .
    Press Current User Picture
  1. Swipe up on the lock screen.
    If using a mouse click on the lock screen to get to the User screen.
  2. Select the user (located in the lower-left corner) then enter the password, if necessary.

    Power button
     (located on the top edge; to the left of the volume key) to turn on.
