Place a Conference Call

The conference call function allows up to 6 parties can participate in the same conversation. Conferencing is supported in the One Talk mobile app as well as the Enhanced Dialer and iOS or Android™ native dialer.

Before you begin

Each conference participant must be called by the call originator.

Mobile App

  1. Open the
    One Talk app
    .
  2. Tap the
    Keypad icon
    .
  3. From the Keypad tab, enter the desired 10-digit number then tap the
    Phone icon
    .
  4. After the call connects, tap
    Add a call
    .
  5. Enter a 10-digit number or extension or select a number from contacts then tap the
    Call icon
     to dial the party you're adding.
  6. When the next party answers, tap
    Merge
     when you're ready to add to the conference.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 to add more participants (up to 6 total participants).
    When the call screen displays 'Conference', all calls are connected.
  8. To disconnect the call, tap the
    End Call icon
    .

Enhanced Dialer

  1. While on an active call, tap
    Add a call
    .
  2. Use the Keypad, Recents, or Contacts tabs to add a party to the call:
    • Keypad
      : Enter the desired number then tap the
      Phone icon
       to place the call.
    • Recents
      : Select an entry from the recent call log to add a participant.
    • Contacts
      : Select a person from your contact list to add them as a participant.
  3. Tap
    Merge
     to create a conference call.
  4. Repeat steps 2-3 to add more participants (up to 6 total participants).
    When the call screen displays 'Conference', all calls are connected.

iOS or Android Native Dialer

  1. While on a call, tap
    Add Call
    .
  2. Enter the applicable 10-digit number to call.
  3. Tap the
    Phone icon
     to place the call.
  4. Tap
    Merge
     to establish a conference.
