From a Home screen, navigate:

Apps icon

Settings

Sound

Do any of the following:

To set a ringtone:

Tap

Phone ringtone

Select a ringtone then tap

To set a notification sound:

Tap

Default notification ringtone

Select the preferred notification type then tap
