Manage Visual Voicemail MessagesKeep your inbox organized and manage your messages efficiently. Easily check, reply to, save, call back, and delete Visual Voicemail messages right from your Pixel smartphone.
Before you begin
Ensure your Visual Voicemail is active.
You can also check your voicemail by calling from your Pixel or from another phone.
You can't retrieve deleted Voicemail messages; however, archived messages are saved to the device's internal storage.
Steps
- Open thePhone app.
- TapVoicemail.
- From the Visual Voicemail inbox, select a message to view the message details (e.g., time, number, length, etc.) then do any of the following:If using Premium Visual Voicemail, you can view the text of the voicemail at the top.
- To play a message, tap thePlay icon.
- To place a call back, tapVoice callorVideo call.
- To reply with a text message:
- TapSend a message.
- From the text message field, enter a message then tap theSend icon.
- To forward a message:
- Tap theShare icon.
- SelectGmailorMessages.
- Enter the applicable info then tap theSend icon.
- To delete a message, tap theTrash icon.
- To delete multiple messages:
- Touch and hold a message until a checkmark appears.
- Select any additional messages you'd like to delete.To delete all messages, tap theSelect all icon.
- Tap theTrash icon.
