- For prepaid devices, Verizon Cloud only backs up or restores contacts. They can only be viewed from the 'Contacts' or 'People' app on the device.
- Ensure your Verizon Cloud app is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
- To transfer content directly from one device to the other refer to Verizon Cloud - Transfer Content - Android™ Smartphone for assistance.
- Contacts are automatically restored to the device during the installation and configuration process.
- Having a memory card in the device may be required for Verizon Cloud to work.
- SelectVerizon Cloudfrom the apps screen then tapInstall.If necessary, tapPlay Storethen enter Verizon Cloud in the search field (top).
- If the Cloud app doesn't open automatically, tap theVerizon Cloud icon
from the Apps list.
