Verizon Cloud - Prepaid Android Smartphone - Install and Configure App

Here's how to install and configure Verizon Cloud on your Android prepaid smartphone.

  • For prepaid devices, Verizon Cloud only backs up or restores contacts. They can only be viewed from the 'Contacts' or 'People' app on the device.
  • Ensure your Verizon Cloud app is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  • To transfer content directly from one device to the other refer to Verizon Cloud - Transfer Content - Android Smartphone for assistance.
  • Contacts are automatically restored to the device during the installation and configuration process.
  • Having a memory card in the device may be required for Verizon Cloud to work.
  1. Select
    Verizon Cloud
    from the apps screen then tap
    Install
    .
    If necessary, tap
    Play Store
    then enter Verizon Cloud in the search field (top).
  2. If the Cloud app doesn't open automatically, tap the
    Verizon Cloud icon
    Verizon Cloud icon from the Apps list.
  3. Tap
    Get Started

  4. Select
    Contacts
    then tap
    NEXT
    (upper-right).
