LG K20 V - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and / or limits on your K20 V.

Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website.

For Business Customer data, visit My Business.

To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.

Open the

Settings app

on your LG K20™ V.

Tap

Data usage

Do one of the following:

Change Data Usage Cycle:

From the 'Data usage cycle' field, tap the

dropdown menu

Tap

Change cycle

From the 'Usage cycle reset date' screen, adjust the date of each month as desired then tap

SET

Refer to your statement for the bill cycle date.

Set Mobile Data Warning:

Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.

Tap the

Limit mobile data usage switch

to turn On.

If presented with a 'Data usage limit' message, review the message then tap

Drag the

orange limit line

left or right to the desired level (e.g. 5.0 GB) then release.

Set Mobile Data Warning:

A notification message appears once the specified data usage level indicated by the orange warning line is reached.

Tap the

Alert me about data usage switch

to turn on.

If presented with a 'Data usage alert' message, review the message then tap

Drag the

red warning line

left or right to the desired level (e.g. 1.8 GB) then release.

To view or limit individual app usage, refer to View / Restrict Data Usage by App.
