Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ - Add an Existing Google™ Account

Adding a Gmail™ (Google™) account to your Galaxy S8 / S8+ lets you access email, apps, and services, as well as sync your data across multiple devices.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Accounts
    Add account
    .
  3. Tap
    Google
    .
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  4. Enter the Gmail address then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter the password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. Review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
    .
    To review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap the appropriate link and language then tap
    Close
     when finished.
  7. From the Google services screen, tap any of the following to enable or disable then tap
    Accept
    :
    • Back up your device's apps, app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords using your Google Account
    • Keep me up to date with news and offers from Google Play.
