My Verizon app for Prepaid
Create Profile / Register

Using the My Verizon app to register and create a profile unlocks easy access to manage your prepaid account, view bills, and take advantage of all Verizon's online features.

Before you begin

Download and install the My Verizon app.
My Verizon registration is not available for a prepaid account with a non-text-capable device.

Steps

  1. Open the My Verizon app then tap
    Register
    .
  2. Tap
    Prepaid Mobile
    .
  3. Enter the prepaid mobile number then tap
    Next
    .
  4. Enter the account PIN then tab
    Next
    .
  5. From the Let's get started screen, enter the following info:
    • User ID
    • Greeting Name
    • Email address
  6. To continue, tap
    I Agree to the Terms and Conditions
     then tap
    Next
    .
    A text message with a temporary password is sent to your default messaging app.
  7. From the Check your texts screen, tap
    Sign in
    .
  8. Enter the following info in the applicable fields then tap
    Sign in
    .
    • User ID or Mobile Number
    • Temporary Password
  9. From the Create a new password screen, enter and re-enter a new password then tap
    Submit
    .
    Passwords must be 8-20 characters and use at least 1 number and 1 letter.
  10. If presented with a Set Security Question screen, enter the appropriate info then tap
    Next
    .
