ASUS ZenPad™ Z8s - Turn Automatic App Restore On / Off

Here's info on backing up and restoring app data on your ZenPad Z8s.
  • 'Automatic restore' allows backed up settings and data to be automatically restored when an app is reinstalled.
  • When attempting to determine whether a third-party app is the cause of an operating system / app issue, ensure 'Automatic restore' is turned off prior to performing a factory data reset.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps icon Apps
    Settings Settings icon
    .
  2. From the Personal section, tap
    Backup & reset
    .
  3. Tap
    Back up my data
    .
  4. Tap the
    Switch icon
     to turn on on switch or off off switch then tap the
    Back icon
     Back icon.
  5. When set to on, tap the
    Automatic restore switch
     to turn On or Off.
