Google Pixel 2 - Call a Number

Here's on how to place a call from your Pixel 2 / 2 XL.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
     Phone app icon (lower-left).
    If not available, swipe up to display all apps then tap the
    Phone icon
    .
  2. Tap the
    Keypad icon
     Keypad icon (located on all tabs except the Contacts tab), enter a 10-digit number then tap the
    Dial icon
     Send call icon.
    To place a call from the Contacts list, tap
    Contacts
     Contacts List icon , tap the appropriate contact then tap the applicable number to dial.
