Here's how to manage emergency alerts (e.g., AMBER Alerts, etc.) for your LG V30.

From a Home screen, navigate:

Settings

Network & internet Network and internet settings icon

Tap

Emergency alerts

Tap the

Menu icon

(upper-right) then tap

Settings

Tap any of the following switches to turn on Switch On icon

or off

Presidential alerts can't be disabled.

Extreme alerts

Severe alerts

AMBER alerts

Text to speech

Tap

Vibrate

then select one of the following:

Always

While in vibrate only mode

Never

Tap

Alert reminder

then select one of the following:

Once

Every 2 minutes

Every 15 minutes

Off

Tap

Text to speech

to turn on or off to have alerts read out loud.
