LG V30® - Turn GPS Location On / Off

GPS location access is needed by some apps on your LG V30 to provide turn-by-turn directions or share your location, but can be turned off to save battery life.
Satellite or standalone GPS requires more power and has a greater effect on battery life.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Lock screen & security
    Location
    .
  3. Tap
    Location switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. If presented, review the disclaimer(s) then tap
    TURN ON LOCATION.
