Verizon Ellipsis® 10 - Restrict Data Usage by App

Here's how to view / restrict the amount of data an app uses on your Verizon Ellipsis 10.
Some apps need background data. Restricting data may cause them not to work without a Wi-Fi connection is available.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Data usage
     (Wireless & networks section).
  3. Tap an app (below the usage graph) then view the usage.
    To restrict the app from using data in the background, tap the Restrict background data switch to turn on Switch on.
  4. If presented with "Restrict background data?" screen, review the message then tap
    OK
