Verizon Ellipsis® 8 - Restrict Data Usage by App

Here's how to view / restrict the amount of data an app uses on your Ellipsis 8.
Some apps need background data. Restricting data may cause them not to work without a Wi-Fi connection is available.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Data usage
    .
  3. Tap an app (below the usage graph) then view the usage.
    To restrict the app from using data in the background, tap
    Restrict background data
     to turn ON.
