Samsung Galaxy J7 V / J7 (2nd Gen.) - Manage Screen Lock Settings

Here's how to configure the screen lock settings for your Galaxy J7 V / Galaxy J7 (2nd Gen.).
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Lock screen
    Screen lock type
    .
    If prompted, enter the current PIN, Password, Fingerprint, etc.
  4. Select one of the following:
    Some may be disabled if a corporate email account is used.
    • Some may be disabled if a corporate email account is used.
    • Swipe
    • Pattern
    • PIN
    • Password
    • None
  5. Tap
    Done
    .
  6. Tap
    Secure lock settings
    .
  7. Tap
    Lock automatically
     then select an option (5 seconds, 1 minute, etc.).
  8. Tap the
    Lock instantly with power key switch
     to turn on or off.
  9. Tap the
    Auto factory reset switch
     to turn on or off.
  10. To keep the device unlocked when it's safely with you, tap Smart Lock.
