How to Test Internet Speed on My Verizon app

Use the My Verizon app to run a speed test for devices connected to your 5G Home router.

Before you begin

5G Home Internet service is currently offered in specific areas; check for 5G coverage availability.

At times, Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband may fall back to 4G LTE speeds.

Open the

My Verizon app

Tap the

Home tab

If necessary, tap the

5G Home tab

at the top of the screen.

From the Home device section, tap the device to manage.

Tap

Wi-Fi networks

Tap

Run speed test

You must be connected to your 5G Home Wi-Fi network to run a speed test.

5G Ultra Wideband speeds range from 300 Mbps up to 1 Gbps.

View the results then tap
