5G Home Internet
Edit Router Nickname via My Verizon Website

Easily identify your 5G Home Internet router / gateway on the My Verizon website by viewing or changing its display name.

Steps

From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon as the Account Owner or Manager.

From the My Verizon Home screen, select the

5G Home tab

From the Home devices section, select the appropriate device.

Select the

Edit icon

next to the current name.

Enter the preferred name in the Device nickname section then select

Save

This is the name that appears on your bill and My Verizon account to help identify the line, this is not the Wi-Fi network name or SSID.
