Here's how to check for and install software updates on your MiFi 8800L.
If you need to check for and install software updates on your Verizon Jetpack® MiFi® 8800L, follow these step-by-step instructions.
  1. From the Home screen, tap
    Menu
     (lower-left).
    If necessary, press the
    Power button
     (top-right edge) to turn on the display.
  2. Tap
    Software Update
    .
  3. Tap
    Check for Update
    .
  4. If an update is available, do the following:
    1. Tap
      OK
       to begin the download.
      Allow several minutes for the download to complete.
    2. When presented, tap
      Install Now
      .
    3. Review the message then tap
      Yes
       to confirm.
      Allow several minutes for the process to complete.
  5. Tap
    OK
    .
