If you have multiple cellular plans active on your Apple Watch®, you may need to switch between them to use a specific number for calls or data, depending on the situation.

Before you begin

You can have one Verizon mobile number and one from another carrier activated; however, they can't be used simultaneously. For instructions on switching between mobile numbers, refer to Switch Between Plans.
Ensure your watch is set up with an Apple® iPhone® XS or later running iOS 12.1 or later.
Ensure you have a cellular plan set up on both your physical SIM and eSIM. For info on adding a cellular plan to your eSIM, refer to Download and Activate an eSIM.
Ensure you have added multiple cellular plans to your Apple Watch.

Steps

  1. From the connected iPhone, open the
    Watch app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    My Watch
    Cellular
    .
  3. Tap the plan you want to use (e.g., Primary, Secondary, (555) 555-5555, etc.).
    To switch plans directly from your watch, navigate:
    Settings
    Cellular
     then select the plan you want to use.
