Dual SIM with an eSIM - Add / Remove Cellular PlanWith an eSIM, your phone number and plan are installed digitally onto your Apple Watch® instead of using a physical SIM card. Downloading an eSIM profile is the first step in getting connected to the Verizon network.
Before you begin
You can have one Verizon mobile number and one from another carrier activated; however, they can't be used simultaneously. For instructions on switching between mobile numbers, refer to Switch Between Plans.
Before completing the steps below, ensure you have a cellular plan set up on both your physical SIM and eSIM.
Remove a Plan
- From the connected iPhone, open theWatch app.
- Navigate: .
- From the Cellular Plans section, tap theInfo iconto the right of the plan you wish to remove
- TapRemove Verizon Plan.
Add a Plan
- From the connected iPhone, open theWatch app.
- Navigate: .
- TapAdd a New Plan.If you see Set Up Cellular, refer to Set Up Cellular Service.
- From the Cellular Setup screen, select the cellular plan you want to add (e.g., Primary, Secondary, (555) 555-5555, etc.).
- Enter your Account Owner or Account Manager username to sign in to the My Verizon app then tapSign Me InorI Need to Register.
- Enter your password then tapContinue.An error displays if your price plan is not eligible for Number Share; for more info on compatible plans, visit the Number Share FAQs.
- Enter your 911 address then tapUse this address.
- From the Device Added screen, tapOKto complete activation and open the Watch app.
