moto e5 go - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your moto e5 go.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Hotspot & tethering
    .
  3. Tap the
    Wi-Fi hotspot switch
     to turn on.
  4. Tap
    Set up Wi-Fi hotspot
     then configure the following as needed:
    • Network name (SSID)
    • Security (e.g., None, WPA2 PSK, etc.)
    • Password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        Save
        .
    • AP Band
      This option can be set to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
