Verizon Messages (Message+) - 4G Basic Phone - Text Message Notification Settings

Here's how to configure your Verizon Messages (Message+) notifications on your 4G basic phone.

Sound

  1. Select the
    Message+ icon
     from the Menu screen.
    Alternatively, select
    Message
     from the Home screen (lower-right).
  2. To change the ringtone, from the 'Conversations' section select
    Options
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK / center button to select.
  3. Select
    Settings
    .
  4. Select
    Notifications
    .
  5. Select a notification tone, then press
    OK
    .
    The available notification tones vary by device.

Vibrate

  1. Select the
    Message+ icon
     from the Menu screen.
    Alternatively, select
    Message
     from the Home screen (lower-right).
  2. To change the notification tone to vibrate, from the 'Conversations' section select
    Options
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK / center button to select.
  3. Select
    Settings
    .
  4. Select
    Vibrate
     then select an option.
    Selected when a green circle is present.
    • Always
    • Only when vibrate mode
    • Never
