Samsung Galaxy A50 - Restart Device

Here's how to restart your Galaxy A50 if it crashes and resets, freezes or runs slowly.

  1. Press and hold the
    Power / Side
     and
    Volume down button
     (right edge) until the 'Power off' prompt appears then release.
    If the device is unresponsive, attempt the alternate method.
  2. Tap
    Restart
    .
  3. To confirm, tap
    Restart
    .
    If your device won't power back on, partially charge the device then retry.
  1. Simultaneously press and hold the
    Power / Side
     and
    Volume down buttons
     (right edge) until the screen goes dark then release both buttons.
    Allow up to 15 seconds for the Boot Mode screen to appear.
  2. From the 'Maintenance Boot Mode' screen, select
    Normal Boot
    .
    Utilize the volume buttons to cycle through the available options and the power button to select.
    If your device won't power back on, partially charge the device then retry.
