Alcatel GO FLIP™ V - Move Media Files to / from Computer

Here's how to transfer pictures, videos or music files between your GO FLIP V and a computer.

Only unprotected video / music files can be transferred using this method.

If using a Macintosh® computer, additional software is required in order to transfer files.

Pictures, videos or music files can also be transferred to an SD / memory card.

Connect your Alcatel GO FLIP™ V to a computer using the supplied USB cable.

Select

to allow the computer to access media files.

From the main screen, press the

left soft key

to choose Notification.

Ensure the USB option USB icon

is set to File transfer.

To change the USB option, press

View

then select

Transfer files (MTP)

From your computer, open File Explorer or Windows Explorer.

Using the computer keyboard, press the

Windows+E

keys

Alternatively, right-click

Start

then click 'Open Windows Explorer' or 'File Explorer'.

Using File Explorer or Windows Explorer, navigate:

Internal shared storage

Alcatel GO FLIP V is listed under the 'Devices and drives' section of 'This PC'.

Device name reflects your device model (e.g., Alcatel GO FLIP V) or its customized name.

Utilize the computer to copy media files between the appropriate folder on the device and the desired location on the computer's hard drive.

Some folders that may contain files on the device include:

DCIM\Camera

Download

Movies

Pictures

Music

When finished, disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
