5G Home Router - Manage Parental Controls / Time Blocks

Here's how to view or change parental controls or time blocks for the 5G Home Router.

You can also set up parental controls or time blocks via the My Verizon app.

  1. Sign in to the Admin WebGUI.
  2. From the Router Home screen, click
    Parental Controls
    .
    Click the
    Filters switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.

  3. From Parental Controls, click the
    Parental controls switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  4. From Websites, click
    Add Website
    , enter the appropriate website to block then click
    Add
    .
    To remove blocked websites, click the
    Delete icon
     Delete icon.
  5. From Devices, click
    Add device
    .
  6. Click the '
    Connected devices
    ' dropdown icon Dropdown menu icon then select the appropriate device to block.
  7. Click
    Block device
    .
    To remove blocked devices, click the
    Delete icon

  1. Sign in to the Admin WebGUI.
  2. From the Router Home screen, click
    Connected Devices
    .
    From the Connected Devices column, view the Restrictions column to see any active time blocks.

  3. From Connected Devices, click the
    Dropdown icon
     Dropdown menu icon to the right of the appropriate device.
  4. From the Restrictions section, click
    Add Schedule
    .
    To modify an existing schedule, click the
    Dropdown icon
     then click
    Add Schedule
    .

  5. From the Restrictions section, enter the appropriate values (e.g., Schedule Name, Time Restrictions, etc.) then click
    Save
