Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 - Install System Updates

Here's how to check for and install software updates on your Galaxy Watch Active2.

Update from an Android Smartphone

  1. Open the
    Galaxy Wearable app
     on the connected Android smartphone.
  2. Tap
    Watch settings
     (lower-left).
  3. Tap
    Watch software update
    .
  4. Tap
    Download and install
    .
  5. If prompted, tap
    Download
    .
    If desired, tap
    Later
     then select a time and tap
    OK
     to install at a later time.
  6. Tap
    Install now
    .
    The software update process may take several minutes to complete.
    The watch will restart during the install process.

Update from an Apple iPhone

  1. Open the
    Samsung Galaxy Watch (Gear S) app
     on the connected iPhone.
  2. From the Home tab, tap
    About Galaxy Wearable
    .
  3. If an update is available, tap
    Install
    .
