Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 - Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Here's how to connect to a Wi-Fi network or remove a saved connection on your Galaxy Tab S6.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    Settings icon.
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on Switch on.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap the preferred network.
      2. Enter the appropriate password then tap
        Connect
        .
        To view the password as it's being entered, tap the
        Show password icon
        Show password icon.
    • Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. From the Network name field, enter the appropriate name.
      3. From the Security field, tap
        Security
        .
      4. Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA / WPA2-Personal, etc.).
      5. From the Password field, enter the appropriate password.
      6. Tap the
        Auto reconnect switch
        to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
      7. Tap
        Advanced
        then ensure additional settings (e.g., IP settings, Proxy, etc.) are configured appropriately then tap
        Save
        .
    • Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
      1. Tap the
        Settings icon
         Settings icon.
      2. Tap
        Forget
        .
