Before you begin
The free trial promotion ends 30 days from activation date or once the data usage cap (1 GB) is reached, whichever occurs first.
To sign up for the Wi-Fi trial, you need to:
- locate then take note of the IMEI for your Volkswagen.
- follow the steps below or contact Volkswagen Support at 833-922-1292.
Sign Up for Trial via myVW App
- Open the myVW mobile app.
- TapShopthen tap thePrice tag icon(bottom).
- TapWi-Fi Hotspot.
- TapVerizon Wi-Fi Trial.
- To activate the trial, review Verizon Terms of service then tapAccept.You must activate the Wi-Fi trial first to view other plans to purchase.
Add Vehicle to Existing Data Plan
Current Verizon customers can add a vehicle to an existing data plan.
- Open the myVW app.
- Tap thePrice tag icon(bottom).
- TapWi-Fi Hotspotthen tapHotspot Unlimited Wi-Fi.
- Enter your 10-digit Verizon Account phone number and zip code then tapVerify.
- From the Account Verified message, tapSubmit.
- Review Confirmation message.
Activate Monthly Unlimited Plan
If you are not a current Verizon customer, you can purchase a monthly unlimited plan
- Open the myVW app.
- Tap thePrice tag icon(bottom).
- TapWi-Fi Hotspotthen tapHotspot Unlimited Wi-Fi.
- Review price then tapContinue to Purchase.
- To continue, review the Verizon legal terms then tapAgree.
- Select the preferred payment method then tapCheckout.
- From Checkout Review screen, ensure everything is correct then tapPlace Order.
Switch to Verizon from Another Carrier
- Open the myVW app.
- Tap thePrice tag icon(bottom).
- TapWi-Fi Hotspotthen tapAdd Wi-Fi to Existing Verizon Account.
- Enter the Primary mobile number and Billing Zip Code then tapVerify Account.
- To continue, Review the Legal Notice then tapSubmit.
