Here's how to use common touch screen gestures (e.g., zoom in, zoom out, rotate, etc.) for your Galaxy Book S.
- This device uses capacitive multi-touch technology and screen calibration is not supported.
- The capacitive touch screen requires your skin to touch the screen. If you are using a screen protector your screen may not work as designed.
Here are frequently used gestures:
- Tap once: Performs an action such as opening an application. Similar to left click with a mouse.
- Press and hold: Allows you to see more detailed info before selecting an action. Similar to right click of a mouse.
- Zoom: Pinch fingers together or apart to zoom in or out of images. You can also jump to the start or end of a list.
- Zoom in
- Zoom Out
- Rotate: Place two or more fingers on the screen and turn your hand. This rotates an object. Rotation depends on the app that you are using.
- Slide: Drag your finger across the screen. Allows you to pan or scroll, similar to pressing and holding, to pan or scroll, with your mouse.
- Swipe: Starting from the right/left edge, swipe inwards toward the center. Swiping from the left edge may open the task view. Swiping from the right, may open the action center.
