Manage Hotspot SettingsTurn on the hotspot feature for your Audi in-car Wi-Fi to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.
Before you begin
Enrollment in Connected Service is required before using in-car Wi-Fi or accessing the Wi-Fi settings screen.
Steps
- From the vehicle's head unit, selectMenu.
- SelectSettings.
- SelectConnection Settings.
- SelectWi-Fi.
- SelectWi-Fi hotspot settings.
- Select any of the following to view or change settings:
- SSID: Sets the network name for compatible devices to select when connecting to your in-car Wi-Fi.
- Wi-Fi Password: Sets a password for connecting to in-car Wi-Fi.
- Visible to others: Broadcast your network name so compatible devices can easily find and connect to your Audi..If turned off, the network name must be entered manually.
