Wireless Home Phone (LVP2) - Activate / Set Up Device
Here's how to quickly set up your Wireless Home Phone (LVP2).
Electrical equipment can cause interference with Wireless Home Phone (LVP2). Avoid placing it near other electrical equipment such as a refrigerator, television or microwave oven.
- Your Wireless Home Phone (LVP2) comes with the SIM card installed. If it was removed, re-insert the SIM card.
- Customers transferring in their home number can't make or receive calls on the Wireless Home Phone (LVP2) until the transfer process is completed. The transfer process can take 2-10 business days. Check the status of your transfer by visiting verizonwireless.com/port or by calling 877-567-4899.
- Connect the power adapter to the device then plug it into an AC power outlet.
- Disconnect the home telephone from the wall jack.
- Connect the home telephone to the device.Don't plug the Wireless Home Phone (LVP2) into the telephone wall jack.
- Press and hold thePower button(on the back of the unit) for 3 seconds to turn on the Wireless Home Phone (LVP2).The LCD display and the LED indicator below the display illuminate when the device is turned on.
- One of the following screens displays:
- If the SIM card has already been activated, the phone number displays.
- If the SIM card needs to be activated:
- A message displays advising to wait for activation.
- Once activation is complete, the phone number displays.
- The home screen displays.
- Place a call to start using the service.Ensure at least two of the signal strength indicator bars
are lit. If no signal bars appear, move the Wireless Home Phone (LVP2) to get a stronger signal.
You may need to use the three-digit area code when dialing local and long-distance numbers.
