Manage Video Streaming Quality

Control your mobile device's video streaming quality through the My Verizon app to optimize your data consumption and balance viewing experience with data efficiency.

Before you begin

This option is only available on select smartphone or tablet connected device data plans.

Steps

  1. Open the
    My Verizon app
     from an Account Owner or Manager device.
  2. Tap the
    Mobile tab
    .
  3. From the Devices section, tap the current plan.
  4. If necessary, select the applicable mobile number from the dropdown in the upper right.
  5. From the Included with your plan section, tap the
    Video streaming quality switch
     to turn HD quality on or off.
