TCL 10 5G UW - Activate / Set Up Device

These steps guide you through setting up and customizing your TCL 10 5G UW for everyday use.
Ensure a 5G SIM card is inserted into the device prior to powering on.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the TCL logo appears then release. Select your language then tap
    Get Started
    .
  2. From the Terms and Conditions screen, review then tap
    Accept and Continue
    .
  3. From the Phone Activation screen, tap
    Next
    .
  4. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  5. To copy apps and data, tap
    Next
     to transfer your content or tap
    Don't copy
    .
  6. Sign in to your Google™ account or create a new one.
  7. From the Terms of Service screen, tap
    I agree
     after you've turned on all the services you want.
  8. Follow the onscreen prompts to review and accept Google Services (e.g., Gemini, Location, etc.).
  9. Set up a screen lock and face or fingerprint recognition to secure your device.
  10. To get daily updates from the Google Assistant, check the desired boxes then tap
    Next

  11. Choose additional features to complete setup on or tap
    No thanks
    .
  12. To allow Verizon Services to collect Location and Apps info, tap
    Accept
    .
  13. Tap
    Agree
     or
    Accept
     to add additional storage with Verizon Cloud or secure your device with Verizon Protect.
  14. From the 'Ready to go' screen, tap
    Got It!
     to exit the device set up.
