Stream TV - Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Network

Here's how to connect to a Wi-Fi network or remove a saved connection on your 2nd-generation Stream TV.
  • The steps below apply to the 2nd-generation Stream TV which can be identified by the Find My Remote button. If you have the original Stream TV model, refer to Stream TV - Add a Wi-Fi Network.

  • Ensure your Stream TV is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
  1. Press the
    Home button
    Home button on your Stream TV remote to wake up your device.
  2. From the Stream TV Home screen, select the
    Settings menu
    Settings menu icon.
    Utilize 5-way navigation pad on the remote to highlight and the center (OK) button to select.
  3. Select
    Android TV settings
    then select
    Network & Internet
    .
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network
      1. Select the preferred Wi-Fi network.
      2. Enter the appropriate password then select the
        Enter icon
        Enter icon.
    • Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
      1. Select
        Add new network
        .
      2. Enter the appropriate Wi-Fi network name then select the Enter icon.
      3. From the 'Type of security' screen, select the appropriate security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA/WPA2 PSK).
      4. From the Password field, enter the appropriate password then select the
        Enter icon
        .
    • Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
      1. Select the Wi-Fi network you wish to remove.
      2. Select
        Forget network
        .
      3. Select
        OK
