Stream TV - Update Apps

Here's how to manually or automatically update apps on your 2nd-generation Stream TV.

The steps below apply to the 2nd-generation Stream TV which can be identified by the Find My Remote button. If you have the original Stream TV model, refer to Stream TV - Update Apps.

Ensure your Stream TV is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.

If necessary, press the

Home button

on your Stream TV remote to wake up your device.

From the Stream TV Home screen, select

Apps

(at the top).

Utilize 5-way navigation pad on the remote to highlight and the center (OK) button to select.

From the 'Google Play Store & Google apps' section, select

Google Play Store

Select the

Account icon

(upper-right) then do any of the following:

Icon will vary based on account name.

Update Apps Manually

Select

Manage apps & games

Select

Updates

Select the appropriate app or select

Update all

Select

Update

Update Apps Automatically

Select

Settings

Select

Auto-update apps

then select one of the following:

Selected when white dot is present.

Don't auto-update apps

Auto-update apps at any time
