Stream TV - View Software Version

Here's how to view the software version your 2nd-generation Stream TV is running.
  • The steps below apply to the 2nd-generation Stream TV which can be identified by the Find My Remote button. If you have the original Stream TV model, refer to Stream TV - View Software Version.

  • Ensure your Stream TV is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
  1. If necessary, press the
    Home button
     Home button on your Stream TV remote to wake up your device.
  2. From the Stream TV Home screen, select the
    Settings menu
     Settings menu icon (upper-right).
    Utilize 5-way navigation pad on the remote to highlight and the center (OK) button to select.
  3. Navigate:
    Android TV settings
    Device Preferences
    .
  4. Select
    About
     then view the 'Build' (at the bottom).
