Update your BMW’s in-car Wi-Fi password to keep your vehicle's hotspot secure and ensure only authorized devices can connect to your data while on the road.

Before you begin

Activation of your Personal eSIM is required before accessing the Wi-Fi Hotspot settings screen.

Steps

  1. From the vehicle's head unit, tap
    Menu
    .
  2. Tap
    All apps
    .
  3. Tap
    Personal Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap
    Settings
     (on the right).
  5. Tap
    Name
     to change the SSID name.
  6. Tap
    Password
     to change the Wi-Fi password.
