TCL TAB 8 Plus - Factory Data Reset (Powered On)

Here's how to factory / hard reset your TAB 8 Plus if the screen freezes or app, audio or sync issues occur.
Perform a factory data reset only if necessary as it removes your Google account and all data including system data, app data and media.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
    An alternate reset method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  2. Navigate:
    System
    Reset
    Erase all data (Factory data reset)
    .
  3. Review the info then tap
    Erase all data
    .
    If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
  4. Tap
    Erase all data
    to confirm.
    Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.
    If needed, set up your device. If troubleshooting third-party apps, don't restore app data.
