Samsung Galaxy Watch6 / Galaxy Watch6 Classic - Factory Data Reset (Powered Off)

Here's how to factory / hard reset your Galaxy Watch6 / Galaxy Watch6 Classic if the screen freezes or call, app, audio or sync issues occur and the device won't start up.
Performing a factory data reset removes all data from the device. Only perform a reset if absolutely necessary.
Read these instructions in their entirety before attempting.
  1. Ensure your watch is powered off.
    If your device is responsive and can be powered on, the preferred reset method should be performed.
  2. Press
    Power / Home button
    until the Samsung logo appears.
    Press and hold the Power and Back buttons
  3. Press and hold both the
    Power / Home button
    and
    Back button
    together until rebooting appears beneath the Samsung logo then tap the power button twice.

  4. From the REBOOT MODE menu, select Recovery.
    Press and release the
    Power / Home button
    to cycle through options then press and hold it to select.
    The device reboots (allow 30-45 seconds for the Recovery menu to appear).

  5. From the Recovery menu, press the
    Back button
    to navigate to 'Wipe data / factory reset' then press the
    Power / Home button
    .
    Once the factory reset is performed, data is removed and you're returned to the 'Recovery' screen.

  6. From the 'Recovery' screen, press the
    Power / Home button
    to select 'Reboot system now'.
    Allow several minutes for the reboot process to complete.
    If applicable, set up your device.
