TCL FLIP 3 - Turn Wi-Fi Calling On / Off

When turned on, Wi-Fi Calling may improve indoor call quality for your FLIP 3.
  1. To use Wi-Fi Calling, ensure Wi-Fi is turned on and connected.
  2. From the main screen, press the
    OK button
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

  3. Select
    Settings
    .
  4. From the Network & Connectivity tab, select
    Wi-Fi calling
    .
  5. Highlight an option then press
    SELECT
    :
    • On
    • Off
  6. Select
    Update emergency address
    .
    You must complete this step during initial setup. Once completed, select
    Save
    . If address validation fails, you'll be required to re-enter a valid address.
  • To select your calling preference while traveling outside the Verizon wireless coverage area or internationally, navigate:
    Settings
    Network & Connectivity
    Wi-Fi Calling
     ensure Wi-Fi calling is turned on, select
    When Roaming
    , select 'Cellular preferred' or 'Wi-Fi preferred' then power cycle the device off and back on.
