Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G Kids Edition - Power Up in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G Kids Edition that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. With the device powered off, press and hold the
    Power/Side button
     until the Samsung logo appears.
    An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  2. When the screen changes to 'Samsung Galaxy secured by Knox', wait 5-10 seconds then press and hold the
    Volume down button
    .
    Pressing the Volume down button too quickly can result in the device not booting into Safe Mode.
  3. Continue to hold the
    Volume down button
     until 'Safe mode' appears in the lower left of the unlock or Home screen then release.
    This may take up to 45 seconds.
