Orbic JOY 2 - Factory Data Reset (Powered On)

Here's how to factory / hard reset your JOY 2 if the screen freezes or call, app, audio or sync issues occur.

Perform a factory data reset on your Orbic® JOY 2 only if necessary as it removes your Google™ account and all data including system data, app data and media.

Music, pictures and videos can be backed up to a computer.

Personal data (e.g., Wi-Fi passwords, browser bookmarks, etc.) can be backed up to Google's servers.

Open the

Settings app

An alternate reset method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.

Navigate:

Reset options

Erase all data (factory reset)

Review the info then tap

Erase all data

If presented, enter the current unlock PIN, pattern or password.

Tap

Erase all data

to confirm and allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.

If applicable, set up your device. If troubleshooting third-party apps, don't restore app data.
